Once a property has been legally structured inside a DAO LLC, SurgeXRP issues digital tokens on the **XRP Ledger (XRPL)** that represent ownership shares of that entity.

This is where the legal structure meets blockchain technology.

All property tokens are issued natively on the **XRP Ledger (XRPL)** using XRPL's built-in token issuance functionality. Each property has a unique token representing shares of that specific DAO LLC.

Token metadata, including property details, legal documentation references, rental income history, and valuation data is anchored to the token via XRPL's rich metadata capabilities, with supporting documentation stored off-chain and verifiably linked.

#### How Token Issuance Works

**Fixed Supply Per Property:** When a property is listed, a fixed and finite number of tokens is issued, representing 100% of the ownership of that property's DAO LLC. This supply never changes. No additional tokens can be minted after issuance, ensuring that existing token holders are never diluted.

**Token Metadata:** Each property token is issued with rich metadata anchored to the token on the XRP Ledger. This metadata includes references to the DAO LLC legal documentation, independent valuation reports, property details, and income history all verifiably linked on-chain for full transparency.

**KYC-Gated Ownership:** Not just anyone can receive property tokens. SurgeXRP integrates with an on-chain identity and compliance layer that ensures only verified, KYC-cleared investors can hold and transact with property tokens.
